My husband and I hired Alan to remodel our very outdated kitchen/almost entire first floor area, our master bathroom and our main bathroom. And this is coming from both my husband and I both working from home, with our son, and 2 dogs while the construction was occurring! Lastly, with hiring Alan were extremely comforted by the level of trust and rapport we had developed with him and his crew. My husband and I placed trust as one of the most important attributes in hiring someone to come into our home. We never once doubted having to leave our house alone with them working? ? which in today? s day and age we considered priceless!! So all in all having 3 major projects done in our home we feel that we could not have made a better choice than hiring Alan Mikol!! The staff on site was punctual and cleaned up everything, even the vents that were loaded with the construction dirt and they were vacuumed out. We ended up having an issue with the windows, a year later and they came out and ended up replacing one of the windows. Integrity is a critical component when dealing with contractors and this organization is above and beyond. I would recommend them for windows and remodeling services. I waited until we had the windows for a few years to provide an assessment of their craftmanship. Excellent work.

Contractor brought all samples to the home and spent time helping to choose materials. With his degree in design, he was extremely helpful. All work was done by his employees and wasn't begun until all items were available. They worked non-stop until the job was completed, 8 days. The workers were very courteous and accommodating. The contractor used quality materials and workmanship was superior. The workers cleaned up each day and hauled away job related debris each day. Although the price was on the high end, the contractor provided services, expertise, and high quality which are often hard to find these days.

The most significant advantages of working with A & M are: 1) the cost estimate is, provided you don't make any mid-project revisions, exactly what the estimate says it will be, 2) the work will be done on or before the estimated date of completion, 3) all of the craftsmen are polite, respectful, and provide the highest quality work, 4) the worksite, your home, will be as clean at the end of a work day as it was at the beginning and the impact to the rest of your home will be as minimal as possible, finally, 5) everything you need from carpet and tile, through lighting and electrical work, to cabinets and countertops are chosen by you by reviewing samples in your home and then customized to your project. We have personally referred A & M to numerous people and will continue to do so in the future.

These folks were fantastic to work with. Alan is a talented designer and contractor. Randy and the rest of the crew are outstanding. They completed all of this work in 22 workdays, were here everyday - consistently working from 7:30 until 3:30 every day. Every aspect of the work to be done was detailed in the contract by Mr. Mikol. Nothing was left undone by the completion of the job. What is important, however, is that much additional work not called for in the contract was also done at no additional charge because it was just needed to be done to do the job right. Examples are addition of a deadbolt for additional security, removal of, sanding and repair of the kitchen door and window prior to painting to make them look like new as opposed to just painting them as is, hand work to construct a special molding strip to box in brickwork in the kitchen area floor area, relocation of wiring and piping in the basement, rewiring of additional kitchen outlets to bring them to current standards and more. I have never written such a long customer testimonial, however, I have had many poor to good contractors in the past. None have been as impressive to me as this one. A.M Window and Construction CO. deserves your recommendations as well to others seeking the best in remodeling or window replacement (which will likely be our next project with them).

A.M Window did a great job. They took their time and did the whole job right. Very professional and we are very pleased with the quality of their work which was outstanding and much better than we expected. HIRE THIS COMPANY, They are not the low cost option but quality costs a little more. Mr. Mikol is honest, his crew is well trained and efficient.. Mr. Mikol has a design background and provides design ideas beyond the typical tear out and replace approach. He did a down to the studs kitchen remodel. As well as a bathroom upgrade. This included demolition,, electrical wiring including the addition of new circuits, plumbing, cabinet and appliance installation, painting, etc. I cannot say enough good things and am looking forward to working with them again on future projects.
